As the calendar now flips to 2025, video game players everywhere turn their attention to Nintendo, who is set to announce their highly anticipated successor to their popular Nintendo Switch. It appears the wait might not be much longer. In a post on X (formally Twitter), the official account for The Game Awards says, "Nintendo will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch in the next 3 months, by March 31, 2025." Geoff Keighley, video game journalist and executive producer of The Game Awards and organizer of Summer Game Fest, is no stranger to receiving video game-related scoops.
