In an interview with the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, PlayStation co-CEO Hermen Hulst shed some light on utilizing "dormant IP." He said: Not surprisingly, the co-CEO's words have sparked a lot of discussion within the community. Some are hoping or dreaming there will be remakes of classic games sooner or later; many are calling for Sony to bring back beloved franchises as soon as possible, especially shooter franchises like Killzone, SOCOM, and Resistance, among many more.
