Nintendo has unofficially announced its next-generation console, tentatively referred to as the "Switch 2." The company plans to reveal the console before April 1, 2025, with a potential release in mid-2025, leaks from the CES 2025 technology showcase suggest. In addition to the new console, Nintendo officially announced today a collaboration with Lego to release a Lego version of the classic Game Boy console. This new kit is set to be available in October 2025. This Lego Game Boy kit is part of an ongoing collaboration between Lego and Nintendo, which has previously produced products like a Lego Nintendo Entertainment System, a retro television, a $300 Lego Great Deku Tree, and various Mario-themed kits. Pricing and further details for the Lego Game Boy kit are yet to be announced.
