A patent for image upscaling technology has surfaced online and the community thinks it might have something to do with the upcoming Switch 2. The patent for Nintendo's AI upscaling was filed in July 2023 but only recently published online. It appears that the company is working on its own version of DLSS technology for its next console. The patent specifically mentions the ability to upscale images from 540p to 1080p or from 1080p to 4K.
