The Nintendo Switch 2 is one of the most hotly anticipated gaming releases of this year, and the announcement might just be a whole lot closer than fans have been expecting. Thanks to a now-deleted Reddit post by user Technical-Manager921 on the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit, fans learned that the Switch 2 might be revealed as soon as Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. It seems like just about every aspect of the Switch 2 has already leaked, from the Joy-Cons to the hardware to the actual look of the console. None of these have actually been confirmed, however, so they're worth taking with a grain of salt. However, the fact that this post has already been taken down might lend to its legitimacy, as plenty of other leaks have been left up without issue. It's also worth noting that the previous Switch announcement was also on a Friday.
