Rumor: Even More Switch 2 Hardware and Game Details Leak Online

More supposed information about the Nintendo Switch 2 has been leaked online, including details about its dev kit hardware and some of the games that might be in development for the new system. The next Nintendo console will reportedly be revealed sometime between now and the end of the current fiscal year in March 2025, and fans have been waiting anxiously for any new details about the forthcoming system. So far, the only thing officially known about the tentatively named Nintendo Switch 2 is that it will be backward compatible with games from the original Switch, as confirmed by Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa in November 2024. As the gaming world waits for the system to be shown in full, rumors and supposed leaks have painted the picture of a console that retains the hybrid design of the current Nintendo Switch with updated hardware on par with the PlayStation 4 Pro. As for exclusive launch titles, a past rumor hinted that a Nintendo Switch 2 update of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could be on the horizon.
