PlayStation Plus members can start 2025 with three games as part of the PlayStation Plus monthly games. The inclusion of Suicide Squad is controversial, to say the least. The game infamously flopped upon release, resulting in WB Games Montreal laying off 99 employees before Christmas. Continued support for the game ends with Season 4: Episode 8 in January 2025, putting the live service title out of its misery. That doesn't mean it's a 100% dead game, though. An offline mode is coming to the game, meaning PlayStation Plus members who download the title will still get to play through it.
