Monthly PlayStation Plus Games Announced for Jan. 2025

It’s a new year and that means another round of PlayStation Plus games are inbound. The month of January features some uneven offerings, a critical and commercial failure, a cult classic and a beloved indie darling. January’s PlayStation Plus catalog will give players access to three unique and very different games. Headlining the roster will be the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, an unmitigated trainwreck for publisher Warner Bros Games and developer Rocksteady. The game was critically panned upon release, and many players complained about repetitive tasks and lackluster updates. Players take control of members of the Suicide Squad and are tasked with doing pretty much what the title says. The game has some redeeming factors, such as its well-implemented story and fluid traversal. While the game can be played through in single-player, this is a live service experience first and foremost, unlike Rocksteady's previous releases.
